How To Make Videos That Convert
I’m sure you noticed, videos are becoming more and more present in the online world. In fact, videos are becoming almost an actual demand from people. The great thing about videos is that it helps you quickly built trust with your audience and leverage your time fantastically. If you do videos for your marketing and want to make sure you get good conversion with them, here is a way you can do it in 4 simple steps.
Step 1 – Intro
Start your video by introducing yourself. The video introduction should only be a few seconds long though. You don’t want to start talking about yourself for 2 mins. What you want is to greet people, mention your name and that’s it!
Step 2- Captivating point
Now here’s the thing with videos. There are tons of them out there so the idea here is to let people know what your video is about as soon as possible. Ideally, you want to grab people’s attention within the first 30 seconds.
A great way to do this is by asking a question. This should ideally point to a certain pain or struggle that your audience has. Another way could be to do something funny or original. You can be creative here! I mean… c’mon… I know you are! 😉 The goal is to captivate your audience and make them want to keep watching and a great way to do that is by creating a bit of curiosity or suspense.
Step 3- Value content
This part is the meat of your video. This is where you provide the actual content. This should provide the solution to the pain. Notice step 3 here, it doesn’t say content but Value content. The more valuable your tips, the more people will love you for it. This is also gonna lead to them wanting to watch more of your videos. Make your viewers want to thank you because you made a difference for them. Let’s be honest, this is why we are doing this in the first place. In the end it’s all about contributing to people’s lives and make this world a better place! Think about what your audience want and provide great tips in accordance to that.
Step 4 – Call to Action
Ok so if you’ve been following the first 3 steps that is awesome but you don’t want to miss this last one. The Call to Action is your chance to get conversions from your video. What is a call to action?? A good call to action is asking people for what you want them to do after watching your video. Now that you’ve provided them a ton of value, you can now direct your viewers to the next step. That step could be to reach out to you, or maybe to fill in a form, visit your website or check out a product that you just came up with. These are all good call to action. If you skip this step, you will be missing on a lot of opportunity in the long run so don’t forget it !
