4 Steps to Sell Anything You Want Online
Are you a business owner who wants to sell your products or services online? If so, this article is for you.
Now just to be clear, this article is not about creating a Shopify store or a fan page with your products on it. Rather, this is about a much more simple approach you can start using RIGHT NOW, even if you don’t have all these tools in place.
Are you ready?? Here are the only 4 steps you need to do…
1- Generate a Lead
This can be done in many ways. You can find leads through free methods and paid methods. I like the paid methods because you can target people in a way that is incredibly specific. But the “free” methods can work just as well.
2- Connect with the lead
Once you have a new lead, you will want to connect with them. A great way to start is to look at their profile and find common points between you and them. Then, you want to start a conversation. People will only buy from people they know, like and trust. At this point, you don’t know them and they don’t know you. That means your only goal here is to know more about the person and allow them to know you.
3- Determine their need
Now that you have a connection with the person, you need to figure out what their struggles are. Take interest in the person and try to find out what’s going on in their life right now. Ask questions. If the person seem a little tense, that means they don’t trust you yet. Stay yourself and make sure you are having a regular laid-back conversation ( just like you would have with any stranger in real life. 😉 When they open up to you, you will notice a change of pace. Don’t try to rush this step.
4- Provide a solution
Now, if you found your leads pain point. Your goal should now be to help them find a solution to their problem. Your goal should be to help people, even if it doesn’t necessarily means you’ll make a sale. That is how you will build genuine connection and trust with people. Once they know you are truly there to help and contribute value in their life, they will have good reasons to trust you. When that happens, they will most likely be willing to listen to your recommendations. At that point, they will most likely buy from you and even refer your product or service to other people. Ultimately, THAT is how you will sell anything you want online.
It is not by force feeding , lying or pitching your offers day after day on your social media walls. It is not by trying to trick people into buying your stuff either.
In the end, you want to focus more on building good connection with people. Then, the sales will come.
